# 8 - Client Interface
- Load from Client File - A
- Push this button to load the Client Data File
into the interface. Be sure to save any change you may have
made to the Master file before loading. If no Client file
has been created, then it will load from the Master file.
- If you wish to load the Master file, use the
load button at the top of the main Interface. The main load
button will load from the Client file during a client login.
- Save to Client File - B
- Push this button to save the project to the
Client data file.
- If you wish to save to the Master file, use
the save button at the top of the main interface. When saving
to the Master from the Client file, it will prompt you to
OK the action. The main save button will save to the Client
file during a client login.
- Live Load Session - C
- This button will toggle On/Off. If the button
is On (animated), then the Interface will load the Client
file every 2 seconds. Save is disabled during Live Load.
- This is useful for client meetings. They can
login and watch the floorplan change while you move the icons.
You must save your changes for the client to see them. (there
is no live-save unless I can find a safe way to handle it
- File Version - D
- The version of the project you are currently
working in will be displayed here for your reference.
- Chat Session - E
- This button will toggle On/Off. If the button
is On (animated)), then the Interface will continuously load
the Chat Log. The chat session will start automatically if
you upload a message.
- Printable Chat Log - F
- Push this button to generate a printable version
of the chat log in a new window.
- Clear Chat Log - G
- Push this button to erase all entries from
the chat log.
- Chat Upload Text - H
- Click the text box and start typing. When
you are ready to upload the message to the chat log, just
press ENTER. (punctuation is limited)
- Chat Log - I
- This window will display the contents of the
chat log. When a chat session is active, it will display the
log at the last entry.
- If you wish to copy the text, just click
and highlight it, then copy (Ctrl+C). Selecting or scrolling
the text will end the chat session, just start it up again
when you're ready.
- Chat Log Scroll Bar- J
- Click and drag this bar up or down to scroll
through the chat log.
